This is my reality right now. My manager position that I have had since January 2024 will be discontinued from 1st June 2025 onwards due to cost-cutting measures in my company and a decision to reduce the number of team leaders.

In this episode I want to share with you the background around my personal information, because I believe that this is very insightful as well to understand

·         What politics and dynamics are ongoing in big Corporate companies

·         That you cannot rely on a permanent contract or even your outstanding performance

·         What you should do (pro-actively) to be harmed the least from a lay-off

·         How to stay resilient in such a situation

I am exploring new opportunities now for me. I already received a lot of amazing support from my colleagues and networking contacts, which I am super grateful for!!!

If you want to follow my way, I would be really happy to connect with you on Social Media like LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/michaela-kettner-6a67a993/) or Instagram (@michaela.kettner.fi).

And yes, I am planning to hold a masterclass on how to write viral (open-to-work) posts on LinkedIn. More about this on social media soon!

And if you are looking yourself for a job in the Corporate world or want to take the next step in your career, I would still be happy to support you in your skilful self-presentation and showing your true, authentic self to a company! Therefore, this podcast is based on three pillars:

·         Self-confidence & self-esteem

·         Managing your emotions

·         Concrete communication techniques based on NLP

And in each episode, you will hear about one of them. – Subscribe to not miss any important points!

alone in the dark
I didn't see it coming. Despite of a permanent contract I was confronted with the news that I will be laid off. What's next?
